Xfinity Customers Stuff the Ballot Box for Summer's Hottest Programming

The results of the first-ever The People’s Hotlist are in! For the past ten days, our Xfinity TV customers have cast more than 20 million votes for the summer’s hottest programming, just by watching their favorite movies and TV shows. Here’s a closer look at the results. The top 10 most-popular titles are:

  1. The Last Ship (TNT)

  2. Big Brother (CBS)

  3. 24: Live Another Day (FOX)

  4. The Strain (FX)

  5. Bad Girls Club (Oxygen)

  6. The Bridge (FX)

  7. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta (VH1)

  8. America's Got Talent (NBC)

  9. Under the Dome (CBS)

  10. Power (STARZ)

  • More than half of the 20+ million votes were cast for TV shows with serial dramas and reality shows leading the pack.

  • Over the course of the event, 23 million hours of People’s Hotlist programming was consumed by Xfinity TV customers.

  • Kids movies proved extremely popular as well, with more than 700,000 votes going to family hits such as Frozen, Despicable Me 2, and the Lego Movie.
