• ATLANTIC-ACM Selects XO as Leader in Metro Data Services for Excellence in Serving Emerging Customers

HERNDON, VA – February 21, 2013 – XO Communications today announced that the company has been honored with a Metro Connect Customer Choice Award for outstanding carrier performance. The award reflects the results of the ATLANTIC-ACM’s 2012 Metro Wholesale Report Card, the industry’s principal customer satisfaction benchmarking study based on individual carrier evaluations by their wholesale customers. To be nominated for an award, a carrier must have a top rating among the three best-performing carriers in three key verticals – wireline, wireless and emerging customers.

ATLANTIC-ACM presented awards in three categories – Best in Class for Operational Excellence, Best in Class for Metro Data Services and Overall Metro Excellence. The operational excellence award averages carrier ratings across operations by vertical. The metro data services award averages product quality and price competitiveness ratings across the following data products – Cable Modem/DSL, Collocation, Ethernet DIA, Legacy DIA, IP VPN, DS3 and Below Local Private Line, OCx and Above Local Private Line, Dedicated Ethernet Private Line and Switched Ethernet. XO was honored with an award for Metro Data Services, Excellence Serving Emerging Customers.
