New York City, February 28, 2014 — On January 15, The Young Lotus Circle held its second annual Young Lotus Circle Winter Soiree at Junoon Patiala restaurant in New York City to benefit and raise awareness of The Asia Foundation’s Women’s Empowerment Program.
Young Lotus Circle leaders and event chairs Lin Jamison, Deshi Singh, and Tania Das hosted the soiree, which brought together Young Lotus Circle supporters and New York City professionals to mingle, network, and learn about The Asia Foundation’s work from Asia Foundation experts Carol Yost, Senior Director of the Foundation’s Women’s Empowerment Program, and Saima Anwer, the Foundation’s former Deputy Country Representative in Bangladesh.
