Here is an alarming question that needs to be ask "Is Killing Youth the Nation's Legacy". With all the violence and self destruction youth are experiencing, should be seen as a cry for help wake up call. Focus On Healing Wellness Institute has heard the cry and is stepping forward to help.

,Washington, DC USA., August 27, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) -- Focus On Healing Wellness Institute launches a youth empowerment training program that is a safety net for the Millennial and Cyber Generation against self destruction and violence.

Several years ago FOH start a youth empowerment program call H.E.L.P (Healthcare Entreprenuers as Leaders in Prevention) Youth Training Program. The program was started to address the deaths and injuries from youth violence that is a major health problem in many parts of the world. Worldwide some 250,000 homicides occur among youth 10-29 years of age each year – 41% of the annual total number of homicides globally. For each young person killed, 20-40 more sustain injuries requiring hospital treatment. Youth violence has a serious, often lifelong, impact on a person's psychological and social functioning. Youth violence is a public health issue.

H.E.L.P Youth Training Program first introduced at Piney Woods Country Life School in Piney Woods, Mississippi to youth ages 8 to 17, with a curriculum that focuses on 5 problem areas that affect youth worldwide, Respect, Acceptance, Violence, Stress and Money.

The technique used to teach these empowerment skills is Reflexology, a non-traditional healthcare therapy that is administered to the feet and hands. Reflexology is a non-invasive technique that is an innovative way to teach health and wellness education and introduce youth to a new vocational and career skill.

Njideka Olatunde, founder of Focus On Healing, says “as a member of the baby boomer generation, there is a need to connect with the Millennial and Cyber Generation (ages 8 to 17) and teach them skills with support, encouragement and a listening ear to help them become self-sufficient and successful as Leaders, Teachers, and Healers who can make a difference in the world”.

Focus On Healing is raising funds for this project. The program can be helped by making a donation, sharing of expertise or referring the program to youth organizations. An invitation is extended to join FOH on this mission to help the Millennial and Cyber Generation build a legacy of "passing on generational health and wealth instead of generational illness and poverty"  that can change the legacy of killing youth to empowering youth.
