Reports claim that Berg was relieved of his jewels, again, at an L.A. house party Monday. Berg representatives yet to confirm.

Los Angeles, CA. Feb. 24, 2010. Epic/E1 Records rapper Yung Berg is not new to robbery and altercation. The Chicago-born rapper who began his career as an artist on DMX's Bloodline Records was victim to a highly-publicized attacking in Detroit in 2008 that involved rapper Trick Trick. That incident left Berg with his jewelry stolen, and began a series of online postings taunting the then-21 year-old entertainer. Later that year, rapper Maino also "slapped" Berg at a New York event and told the press, he let Berg "keep his chain."

That was not the case this past weekend, says Los Angeles police officials. TMZ.com reports that during a party at a gathering in a Los Angeles' historic Mulholland Drive, four men trespassed at 2am Monday morning (February 22). After waving pistols, the assailants pistol-whipped two of the party-goers, one of which was Berg, and split with a reported $10,000 in cash and jewels.

At the time of TMZ's story, Berg's reps state that the rapper was in Las Vegas during the weekend. That rep said they had heard nothing about Monday's incident.

The Los Angeles Times claims the house of the robbery to be owned by a "Rap record label," though the specifics have yet to be confirmed.

Musically, Berg focused on mixtapes in 2009. His last album was 2008's Look What You Made Me, which debuted in the Top 25 of the charts.
