zanox gains performance marketing expert and agency founder, Jakub Maj, for newly-created position


 


Further expansion of Eastern European business planned for 2011





Berlin, 15.02.2011- zanox, Europe's leading performance advertising network, has assigned Jakub Maj to head its Polish Sales and Account Management Team with immediate effect. 32 year-old Maj, most recently responsible for the Polish market of the international performance advertising network, OMG, will coordinate all sales and service activities in the Axel Springer and PubliGroupe subsidiary's most important Eastern European market.


In his position as Country Sales Director Poland, Jakub Maj will manage the Polish Sales and Account Management Team and will assume responsibility for the staff and market strategy. The focus of his operative sales duties will lie in strengthening the existing business and in generating new customer business on the advertiser, publisher and agency side.



Jakub Maj founded his own online marketing agency "e-Next" as early as 2000, and developed it for several years as its Managing Director. Until his transfer to zanox, he headed the Polish operations for the Europe-wide-operating British affiliate network, OMG. Maj ranks as a renowned online marketing expert with outstanding contacts to international brands and in the publisher community.
