zanox appoints new Vice President Finance

Berlin, 9 July 2010 - zanox, a global market leader for performance-based online marketing, gains Joachim Piroth as the future new Vice President Finance & Controlling. Beginning immediately, the 44-year-old takes responsibility of the affiliate network's central areas of finance, controlling and business development in the Berlin company headquarters and will lead their strategic realignment at international level.

Joachim Piroth switches to zanox from BT Germany, the German network and IT service provider of the British Telecommunications Group, where he had been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since the beginning of 2006 with responsibility for the fields of controlling, accounting, procurement and billing. The academic communications engineer has been active in the telecommunications industry since 1992: having previously held posts at Mannesmann Mobilfunk/D2 (now Vodafone D2) and Arcor, he assumed responsibility for the finances of LambdaNet AG in Germany in the year 2000 in the position of CFO. Between 2005 and 2006 he controlled the financial transactions of Versatel in the same position.
