Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales explains Wikimedia Foundation's strategy for the future

150 software developers, Wikipedia authors and representatives from over 30 countries expected

Berlin, April 12, 2010 –This year's

takes place between 14 and 18 April at the zanox Campus in Berlin with more than 150 participants from over 30 countries expected on the banks of the river Spree. Besides the exchange of experiences and ideas between Wikipedia's international representatives, the event will also provide a platform for discussing the future strategic alignment of the global Wikimedia movement. International goals and future strategies will be presented to the public by the Wikipedia founder, Jimmy Wales, and the Executive Director of the Wikimedia Foundation, Sue Gardner, during the course of a press conference on Friday, 16 April at 14:00 hrs in the zanox Campus at Stralauer Allee 2.

Thezanox Campusin Berlin was opened in 2008 as an international network platform and meeting place for developers and the web community.
