Healthcare professionals function within the context of an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and rapidly changing environment. Physician dissatisfaction and burnout are oftentimes the result. Coaching can help physicians successfully navigate their way amid this rapid change and avoid being blindsided by burnout. This course builds on the foundational skills in coaching taught in our 501 course to focus on expanding participants’ knowledge of principles of change, transition and transformation. These concepts are then used to further develop participants’ skills in keen listening and powerful questions that help others be proactive in change, understand and leverage transitions for the best outcome to experience transformation at a deep level that flows out to all areas of life. In addition to benefitting personally, participants will be able to apply these skills to maximize their impact with patients, colleagues, team members, family and friends. Course qualifies for 16 units of ICF-approved instruction toward coaching certification. (Prerequisite for this course is CMDA’s 501 Foundations in Coaching, or its equivalent.) The Christian Medical & Dental Associations designates this educational activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™
