ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Taran Oulton of Williams Woods (Mo.) and Andrew Warner of Columbia have been named American Midwest Conference baseball Players of the Week. Oulton (pitcher) and Warner (player) were selected based on their performances Feb. 12-18.
AMC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Taran Oulton, William Woods (Mo.)
6-0, Jr., Pitcher, St. Albert, Alberta
- Went 1-0 on the mound for the Owls.
- Tossed seven shutout innings against William Penn (Iowa).
- Allowed seven hits, no walks and struck out four in the complete-game effort.
- The Owls won the game, 2-0.
- Now 2-1 on the year with a 0.95 ERA.
- This is his first-career AMC Baseball Pitcher of the Week award.

Andrew Warner, Columbia (Mo.)
6-2, Sr., Catcher, Lee's Summit, Mo.
- Hit .583 (7-for-12) on the week for the Cougars who went 3-1.
- Went 2-for-4 with two solo homeruns in Columbia's 5-2 win over Viterbo (Wis.).
- Had five RBIs, scored five runs and went 1-for-1 on stolen bases.
- Hitting .533 with two home runs and nine RBIs this season.
- This is his sixth-career AMC Baseball Player of the Week award.

- Dylan Crossley, Central Baptist: Allowed six hits and one run over seven innings in a win over Jarvis Christian (Texas). Crossley did not walk a batter in the outing.
- Reese Chovanec, Lyon: Tossed 6 2/3 innings allowing one run in two games. Picked up a win and a no decision coming out of the bull pen.
- Jose Acosta, Park: Struck out ten in 5 2/3 innings in a no decision against Missouri Valley.
- Player:
- Cole Danielson, Harris-Stowe: Hit two home runs and had five RBIs in four games.
- Sam Derks, Park (Mo.): Had 10 RBIs and two homers for the Pirates four-game sweep over Missouri Valley.
- Matt Crook, Lindenwood-Belleville: hit .455 with eight RBIs and five runs scored.
- Tyler Bracht, William Woods (Mo.): Went 7-for-13 with five RBIs and two doubles.
