APSCO Organized the On-line Session of Summer Camp for the CubeSat Competition ACC Project


APSCO Secretariat organized an on-line session on Summer Camp for the CubeSat Competition (ACC) Project, on 19-20 August 2024 through virtual format. Participating Teams (PTs) from China, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, Peru, Thailand and Türkiye nominated by the APSCO Member States, Project Management Team (PMT) members from all Member States, Consultant and the Project Leader participated in the Session.

 

 

APSCO Secretariat organized an on-line session on Summer Camp for the CubeSat Competition (ACC) Project, on 19-20 August 2024 through virtual format. Participating Teams (PTs) from China, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, Peru, Thailand and Türkiye nominated by the APSCO Member States, Project Management Team (PMT) members from all Member States, Consultant and the Project Leader participated in the Session.

The Summer Camp was organized under the ACC Project, which is separated into two sessions, first theoretical session on-line session, and second hands-on on-site session, which will be held in Tehran from 22 October to 02 November 2024. The theoretical session focused on reviewing the Cubesat detailed design from the PTs.

On behalf of the APSCO Secretariat, Mr. Xu Yansong, the Director General of the Education and Training Department, welcomed all participants and appreciated the project leading institute, the Iranian Space Agency (ISA), for their contribution in the project.

Mr. Shahrokh Zohrabzadeh Bozorgi, the PMT member and project leader from ISA, introduced the progress of the project and his expectations on the updated Cubesat detailed design which would be submitted to PMT by PTs.

The teams of China (named as CN-NPU-IPGC), Iran (named as IR-Sepehr), Mongolia (named as MN-NEXCUBE), Pakistan (named as PK-Trailblazers), Peru (named as PE-PUCP INTISat Initiative), Thailand (named as TH-CIRFLINK) and Türkiye (named as TR-METUCube) provided their presentations on the Cubesat detailed design and answered questions raised by PMT. After the on-line session, scores on their presentations and reports will be provided by PMT in order for reaching the requirements of the On-site Hands-on Session of the Summer Camp.
