GREEN BAY, WI – The National Football League (NFL) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America will have two members of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay , WI, participate in the 2025 NFL Draft. These two teens will take center stage to announce the Green Bay Packers’ second-round pick live during the nationally televised event. This moment is made possible by the partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative, which empowers Boys & Girls Club youth to become advocates and create positive change in their communities.

Kenia D. and Marcellus C.J., both members of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay, were selected by the NFL in recognition of their academic dedication, leadership and commitment to giving back. The pair will represent not only Green Bay but also the thousands of youth positively impacted by Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.

Kenia has been a proud Club member for ten years and was recently named the Greater Green Bay Club’s 2024 Youth of the Year . Known for her leadership and service, she mentors younger members and assists staff with programs ranging from homework help to athletics. Kenia plans to join the military after graduation, with aspirations of becoming a pilot.

My Club not only encourages me to be the best version of myself, but they always introduce me to new opportunities to show the world who I am and what I have to offer” says Kenia D. “Being a part of the NFL draft is so exciting – and I am proud to represent Boys & Girls Club kids across the country who benefit from great partnerships like the NFL.”

Marcellus has spent over six years actively involved at the Greater Green Bay Club, where he enjoys making friends and trying new activities. He is a regular at Family Nights with his dad and sister, and he’s also deeply engaged at school, participating in theater and playing both the piano and violin. For Marcellus, the Club has been a vital space to grow socially and express himself creatively.

“My Club has opened the door for me to meet new friends and make joining in group activities a lot less intimidating,'” says Marcellus C.J. ” says Marcellus C.J. “I never imagined I would be involved in something like the NFL Draft, and I am beyond grateful for the partnership with the NFL for giving me a stage to shine.”

The opportunity for Kenia and Marcellus to represent Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay on a national stage is a testament to the power of youth development and importance of all Boys & Girls Clubs in communities nationwide. As they take the spotlight at the 2025 NFL Draft, they not only celebrate their personal achievements but also shine a light on the positive impact of the more than 5,400 Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.
