Toshiba Releases Low Capacitance TVS Diodes Suitable for ESD Protection for Thunderbolt 3 and other High Speed Signal Lines
TOKYO— Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation ("Toshiba") today starts shipments of two low capacitance TVS diodes (ESD protection diodes) that support high speed communication standards, such as Thunderbolt™ 3, HDMI® 2.1 and USB 3.1. The new “DF2B5M4ASL” supports a maximum working peak reverse voltage of 3.6V, and “DF2B6M4ASL” supports 5.5V.

Four-Channel TVS Diode Array from Littelfuse Combines Low Dynamic Resistance with Enhanced ESD Capability
CHICAGO, May 12, 2015 — Littelfuse, Inc., the global leader in circuit protection, has introduced the miniature four-channel bidirectional SP1015 Series TVS Diode Array (SPA® Diodes), designed to protect data lines that may experience destructive electrostatic discharge (ESD). These robust diodes can safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes (±20kV contact, ±30kV air) well above the maximum level specified in the IEC61000-4-2 international standard without performance degradation. Their bidirectional configuration provides symmetrical ESD protection for data lines when AC signals are present.
