ENGLEWOOD, COLO. – May 17, 2024 – Craig Hospital, a world-renowned neurorehabilitation and research hospital for individuals who have sustained spinal cord and/or brain injuries, is proud to announce that it has been named a winner of the 2024 Top Workplaces USA and 2024 Denver Post Top Workplaces awards.
These awards are based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling respected and supported, enabled to grow, and empowered to execute.
This year marks the third time Craig Hospital has been awarded a Top Workplaces USA honor since 2021. Craig ranked #77 out of the top 100 companies with 1,000-2,499 employees in the country. More than 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in the Top Workplaces USA survey. Results are calculated by comparing the survey’s research-based statements, including 15 culture drivers that are proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.
This year is also the ninth time Craig Hospital has been awarded a Denver Post Top Workplaces honor since 2012. Craig ranked #11 out of the 31 best companies to work for in Colorado that were recognized in the Large Company category this year.
In 2024, Craig was also honored to be recognized among Top Workplaces in the categories of Compensation and Benefits, Innovation, Leadership, Purpose and Values, and Work/Life Flexibility.
“These Top Workplaces awards reflect our deep commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment,” Craig Hospital Vice President of People and Culture and CHRO Amie Staudenmaier said. “We know that taking care of our people is not only the right thing to do but it also empowers our teams to provide the best care for our patients, their families and each other. We’re so grateful for our staff and their contributions to Craig’s culture of compassion and excellence.”
As a private, not-for-profit neurorehabilitation hospital, Craig Hospital’s people-first culture is centered around exceptional care for our patients, their families and our staff, and everyone has a critical role to play at Craig in caring for our community.
