CVP Awarded $1.7B Blanket Purchase Agreement to Provide Information Technology and Data Management Services to National Cancer Institute


CVP has secured a seat on a five-year, unrestricted $1.7B blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to support the National Cancer Institute Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology, delivering DevSecOps, cybersecurity, CIO support, data management, and cloud and IT infrastructure to support NCI’s dynamic biomedical research enterprise including initiatives such as Cancer Moonshot, Childhood Cancer Data Initiative, RAS gene-driven cancer research, and COVID-19 research.
Fairfax, Virginia, United States., December 12, 2022 - /PressReleasePoint/ - Customer Value Partners (CVP), an award-winning healthcare and next-gen technology consulting firm, has secured a seat on a five-year, unrestricted $1.7B blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to support information technology (IT) and data management services for the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT).  
 
As part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), NCI manages cancer research, training, and information dissemination to meet the diverse needs of the American public. The agency’s work supports advances in cancer detection, diagnosis, and care and contributes to declining rates of cancer-related deaths and new cancer cases in the U.S. 
 
Through the NCI CBIIT BPA, CVP and Peraton, CTA (Contractor Teaming Arrangement) team member, will deliver DevSecOps, cybersecurity, CIO support, data management, and cloud and IT infrastructure to support NCI’s dynamic biomedical research enterprise including initiatives such as Cancer Moonshot, Childhood Cancer Data Initiative, RAS gene-driven cancer research, and COVID-19 research. Providing these initiatives with critical IT and data management support will enable the agency’s mission to lead, conduct, and support cancer research to advance scientific knowledge and help all people live longer, healthier lives.
