"The Neuromuscular Centre have been using the Hivamat deep oscillation therapy since early 2017; the centre provides physiotherapy for adults with neuromuscular conditions who can display a large variety of symptoms. Some of the main symptoms include pain and cramping. The use of the Hivamat on individuals with these issues has been fantastic in controlling cramps and reducing pain. The gentle, non-invasive nature of the therapy has allowed even those with the most severe pain, who are normally unable to tolerate treatment, to get a benefit and a period of relief. One client was suffering from constant aches and very frequent cramping in their legs due to their condition, since using the Hivamat they have experienced a much reduced level of pain and fewer than 2 cramps in a week in comparison with the 20+ previously. They claimed the Hivamat was the best thing they’ve had.

We will continue to use the Hivamat regularly and may need a second machine, as there is such a high demand for it!"

"Hivamat is the new buzzword at the Neuromuscular Centre. It is proving so popular that we have to line up to use it! It certainly is in demand. Our service users love it and now request it for lymphoedema treatment in conjunction with MLD (previously done on it's own). I love the fact that I can use it with MLD without having to learn another new technique. The rapid relief given when legs are feeling heavy, swollen and painful is wonderful to see. A recent comment was Thank you for giving me my legs back. It is obvious when the patient stands up following a treatment the previous tightness is markedly reduced and they can't believe how light their legs feel. In addition, I am so impressed with the Hivamat that I also use it prior to many massage treatments knowing that it is able to work through the skin, muscles and tissues to a depth of 8cm. This is very useful when presented with highly sensitive and painful back, neck and shoulders. The sound of snoring is very common in my treatment room as a result of the relaxation my patients get from the gentle vibration."
