Airline offering nearly 3,200 weekly seats to and from United States

COPENHAGEN, 16 May 2013 – Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) seasonal nonstop service between Copenhagen’s Castrup Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy airport will recommence on Sunday 2 June 2013. The flight will initially operate four times weekly and increase to daily effective 17 June. The flight will operate throughout the peak summer season using a Boeing 767-300 aircraft, in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partner Air France KLM.

This summer, our passengers can enjoy a range of new in-flight amenities, complementing Delta’s award winning onboard service.”
BusinessElite customers will have the opportunity to experience the new Westin Heavenly® In-Flight bedding, designed and manufactured exclusively for Delta by Westin Hotels & Resorts. In addition, Delta has also introduced a new BusinessElite amenity kit featuring Tumi and Malin+Goetz products.
In 2012, Delta carried nearly 35,000 passengers between Denmark and the U.S. on its summer service, with an average load factor of over 92% on the route.
Delta is making a number of significant investments in its products and services to improve its customer’s experience on the ground and in the air. These include Delta’s state-of-the-art, $1.4bn Terminal 4 at New York-JFK that will open on 24 May. Customers flying between Copenhagen and New York-JFK this summer will benefit from a greatly enhanced airport experience on arrival and departure at the airport.
