First Command Names Nancy Nee as Inaugural Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer


In this role, Nee will work closely with First Command's Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute a strategic vision for comprehensive transformation, solidifying the company's position as the preeminent financial planning coach for military families in their pursuit of financial security.

FORT WORTH – First Command Financial Services, Inc. today announced that Nancy Nee has been appointed as the company's first Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, a newly created role to drive enterprise-wide transformation enhancing how the company serves and supports military clients and their families throughout their military careers and into civilian life.

In this role, Nee will work closely with First Command's Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute a strategic vision for comprehensive transformation, solidifying the company's position as the preeminent financial planning coach for military families in their pursuit of financial security. She’ll serve as a vital connective force throughout First Command’s transformation journey, translating the executive leadership team’s strategic vision into actionable change strategies, while aligning people, processes and organizational culture to enable the seamless execution of large-scale organizational transformation.

Nee brings more than 20 years as an accomplished strategic transformation leader with extensive experience driving large-scale modernization and change initiatives across multiple industries leveraging her expertise in agile methodologies, performance management, and human capital development. Most recently she catalyzed collaboration to transform federal tax administration processes while establishing strategic vision alignment across multiple agencies.
