Message to all staff from Paul Duldig, Chief Operating Officer

Hi everyone,

Welcome to On&OffCampus (let's see how long this new name is needed...).

By now, most of us are working and studying remotely, learning how to work the technology and juggle the pleasure and pressure of being at home.  But some of you remain on campus - whether campus is your home, you are undertaking COVID-19 research, or you are are busy ensuring activities on campus are supported and safe.

Whatever your work circumstances, it's important that you are safe, healthy and that your wellbeing is supported. Please take a moment to fill out the circumstances eForm, which will provide information about your health, travel and work circumstances. It will help us to support you, to help those in need, and to understand if there are common issues across the University community. Your privacy will be respected.

Over the past two months we have been providing regular updates as we have all been figuring out how to respond to the COVID-19 crisis, in particular as we moved to remote working and studying. I am sure most of you are now turning your mind to the coming months, to ensure the ongoing viability of teaching and research.

This new mode of working and studying is likely to be with us for many months - how many no-one knows. So we'll start to use this newsletter to keep you up to date. On&OffCampus will provide the helpful information you need for remote working and learning. In this edition, you'll find information about changes to mail deliveries, IT matters and parking permits.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding and resilience during this very difficult time.  I am so impressed with how well the ANU Community has worked together to do what has needed to be done. Thanks also to the over 170 staff who have been involved in critical incident management to get us to this point. Your dedication to the University is exemplary.
