Biography

Mr. Lang has served as Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer since November 2014 and was serving as MicroStrategy’s Senior Vice President, Analytics, a position he had held since September 2014. Prior to joining MicroStrategy, Mr. Lang served as the chief product officer for Talemetry Inc., a leading provider of talent generation SaaS solutions, from September 2010 to September 2014, and as vice president, product for SAP SE from January 2008 to September 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Lang held positions at SAP BusinessObjects and Crystal Decisions. Mr. Lang received a B.Soc.Sci. in Information Management from the University of Melbourne.

Biography

Mr. Le has served as Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer since August 2015, and as Chief Operating Officer since June 2018. Prior to joining MicroStrategy, Mr. Le served as the Chief Financial Officer of XO Communications, a privately-held telecommunications company, from August 2014 to August 2015. From March 2010 to August 2014, Mr. Le held senior positions at NII Holdings, a NASDAQ-listed telecommunications company, including Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, Vice President of Strategy and Business Operations, and Vice President of Strategic Finance. Prior to that, Mr. Le worked in the consulting practice at Deloitte from 1998 to 2010, where he held various positions, including Senior Manager. Mr. Le holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Biography

Hugh Owen is the Senior Vice President in charge of Product Marketing for MicroStrategy. A 16 year industry veteran, he is responsible for the marketing of MicroStrategy’s Enterprise Software offerings for Analytics, Data Discovery, Big Data, Mobile, and Cloud. He has been with MicroStrategy since 2000 in various roles. Mr Owen received a Bsc (Hons) degree in Business from The University of Bath, England.

Biography

Susan Payne Cook brings nearly two decades of experience in analytics in large global technology companies. Most recently, she was a Vice President of Sales in both global and North American roles in the Business Analytics software brand at IBM, which included the Cognos, TM1 and SPSS products. She joined IBM as a Partner and global leader in the Business Analytics and Optimization practice within IBM Global Business Services.

Cook was the Worldwide Vice President of the Business Intelligence Solutions group at HP that combined consulting services, infrastructure products, and third-party software to provide solutions to HP's largest and most complex global clients. Prior to HP, Cook spent six years at Oracle as a Group Vice President of Sales. For two of those years, she created and led the North America Business Intelligence sales organization, combining teams and technologies from acquisitions like Siebel and Hyperion.

Biography

Rich Cober is MicroStrategy’s Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, Rich leads MicroStrategy’s teams responsible for HR Business Partnership, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management. MicroStrategy employees nearly 2,500 people globally who are supported by members of Rich’s HR team.

Prior to this role, Rich worked for Marriott International where he served as a senior HR Business Partner, senior leader within Marriott’s learning organization, and a senior leader responsible for Marriott’s Talent Management Analytics and Solutions (TMAS) Team. Across roles, Rich advised senior stakeholders on People Strategy issues, built plans for designing and deploying HR tools and processes, and built Marriott’s organizational capability through a variety of organizational design initiatives.

Rich began his career earning his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron. Rich was a visiting professor in Cleveland State University’s School of Business and then spent several years working in management consulting. In addition to his professional experience, Rich has published his research in the areas of employee recruitment, hiring, and performance management in academic journals, had research findings cited in the popular press, and is a regular presenter and chairperson at professional conferences. Rich was awarded the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology’s (SIOP) Early Career Contributions award in 2014.
