Scott Winter Promoted To Vice President Of Finance At Arkansas Blue Cross And Blue Shield

LITTLE ROCK — Scott Winter has been promoted to vice president of finance at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In his new position, Winter is responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities of the Financial Services Division, including financial reporting and operations, financial information systems, and administrative cost.

Winter joined Arkansas Blue Cross in June 1996 as a staff accountant. He has held positions of Health Advantage controller, Arkansas Blue Cross statutory accounting manager, and lead executive for Enterprise Financial Reporting. Winter earned his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Central Arkansas in 1992 and his CPA in 1996. He is a board member of the Children’s Protection Center and treasurer of the Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas. He and his wife, Charla, have two children and live in Sherwood.
