The Senate Wednesday voted against considering a national security package that included aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, along with long-negotiated immigration reforms.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) now plans to proceed with a vote on the same bill but without the immigration policies. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has not yet said how House Republicans would vote on such a bill.
