HONG KONG – (February 18, 2025) – Sun Life today announced the appointment of Georgina Farrell as Chief Human Resources Officer for Asia, effective May 1, 2025.
HONG KONG – (February 18, 2025) – Sun Life today announced the appointment of Georgina Farrell as Chief Human Resources Officer for Asia, effective May 1, 2025.
In this role, Georgina will be responsible for driving Sun Life’s talent and culture strategy in the region focusing on talent development, organizational growth and employee engagement to support Sun Life’s growth ambitions in Asia.
Georgina joins Sun Life from RSA where she was Chief People Officer, UK, Ireland and Europe and played a key role in developing an integrated people strategy to support business growth. With over 20 years’ experience in HR leadership roles in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, Georgina has a proven track record of building high-performing teams and aligning people initiatives to business priorities to drive business growth.

Georgina will be based in Sun Life’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong. She will be a member of the Asia Executive Team and HR Executive Team, reporting to Helena Pagano, EVP, Chief People & Culture Officer, Sun Life, and Manjit Singh, President, Sun Life Asia.
Georgina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics from University College, Dublin, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Dublin Institute of Technology
