Ben Treloar will make his List A One-Day umpiring debut on Tuesday when South Australia host Tasmania in the Marsh Cup fixture at Karen Rolton Oval, Adelaide.
Treloar is a three-time winner of the George Borwick Memorial Award, the highest honour for any member of the NSW Cricket Umpires' and Scorers' Association, and begins his third season as a member of the Cricket Australia Development Umpire Panel.
He won his third George Borwick Memorial Award last summer having received the best marks from First Grade captains in NSW Premier Cricket.
During the winter, Treloar was appointed to two Under 19 One-Day Internationals between Australia and New Zealand in Brisbane, pointing to his continuing development.
Last season saw Treloar stand in four Women’s Big Bash League matches, in addition to three four-day and one T20 Second XI match.
He attended three consecutive Under 19 Male National Championships between 2013/14 and 2015/16 on the back of two Under 17 Male National Championships in the years prior.
Trelaor stood in the Premier Cricket First Grade Limited Overs Cup Final last season between Sydney and Sydney University at Drummoyne Oval.
He was also appointed to the Second Grade Grand Final between Sydney University and Parramatta.
Treloar has now umpired 218 matches in Sydney Cricket Association competitions, including two First Grade Limited Overs Cup Finals, eight lower grade Grand Finals and three Finals of the Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup.
His partner for the match will be experienced National Panel umpire Simon Fry, with local scorers Mick Harper and Neil Ricketts appointed to record the fixture.
