UCLA is No. 4 in Forbes’ 2019 ranking of the 300 best value colleges and universities in the United States.
The rankings, which focus on the highest quality schools with the best financial outcomes, are based on an evaluation of alumni earnings, net price, net student debt, school quality, timely graduation and access for low-income students. The list includes both public and private institutions offering four-year degrees and does not include private for-profit schools.
In addition to UCLA, five other University of California campuses placed in the top 15: UC Irvine (No. 3), UC Berkeley (5), UC Davis (11), UC Santa Barbara (12) and UC San Diego (13).
