Author and military spouse Kristin Bentley has been working with veterans to share their stories ever since she founded the publisher E.P. House. Her work has helped many veterans write and publish their stories.
Recently, Military.com covered Bentley’s new project, the Military Memoir Program, which works with veterans and military family members, teaching them how to write their stories. The goal is to release an anthology of veterans’ stories, starting with “Legacy Makers: Untold Military Stories of Community and Change.”
“Military stories matter because they capture the courage, loyalty and purpose that shape not only individuals but also history itself,” Bentley said. “These stories go beyond personal experiences –they reveal universal truths about service, sacrifice and human spirit, inspiring others and preserving legacies for generations to come.”
